Sounds like it could be my next phone. Motorola radio, build quality, and quick updates if its indeed a Nexus phone will probably make tech geeks counting the days until Google I/O.

Perhaps Google only purchased Moto Mobility for the patent portfolio, but I am hoping they had greater vision than that.

About time, Motorola has not had a top end phone since Droid X. Since then Motorola has been releasing mid range phones. The only thing Motorola got right was the large batteries in the Maxx series. Hopefully Motorola breaks the trend of ridiculously large screens and gets back to something more pocke table. And no I’m not talking about the RAZR M. NO AMOLED!!! We need SLCD3, 5 inch or smaller display, minimal bezel, top spec internals, and stock android.

The Wall Street Journal has it on good authority that engineers at Moto are toiling on a so-called “X phone,” which is obviously being built under the stewardship of Google.

The new Sony Xperia Z looks great, I only hope Sony will release it with Android 4.2. I’ve always loved Sony’s design on their phones and these specs definitely sound pretty impressive. 4.7″ is my sweet spot, though I have yet to see a 5″, I think keeping bezel to a minimum 5″ will be great.
